25th Turopoljska Race 2017 will be held on Sunday, March 26th 2017, at 10:30 h, at the centre of Velika Gorica in front of Pučko otvoreno učilište Velika Gorica.

Three best placed runners OVERALL will get trophies while the best results in each category (first three places) will be awarded with medals.

 

Applications:

To secure your place on the start line, please pay the registration fee only by bank transfer to Maraton kluba Velika Gorica via payment slip, Internet or mobile banking.

As an exception, application to fireman, citizens and roller-skaters races will be possible on the day of the race ONLY VIA PAYMENT SLIP PAID ON A NEARBY KIOSK (UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE WE DEALING WITH CASH), but in this case organizer can no guarantee availability of gift-package.

Application to a race is confirmed only by paying the registration fee which is listed below.

Paid registration fees will not be returned, but the application may be transferred to another competitor. REGISTRATION FEE PAYMENT CONFIRMATION SHOULD BE PRESENTED AT REQUEST WHILE PICKING UP STARTING NUMBER.

Registration fees:

  • Early bird applications until 31/1/2017 – 50 kn (€ 6)
  • Regular applications from 1/2/2017 – 28/2/2017 – 60 kn (€ 8)
  • Late applications from 1/3/2017 – 16/3/2017 – 70 kn (€ 10)
  • On a race-day (only via payment slip) – 26/3/2017 – 80 kn (€ 12)

5 km Race is a road athletic races with a total length of 5,000 m. Race consist of one lap of 5,000 m length. Start and finish are in the same place.

Only healthy athletes may compete on a race and they all RUN AT THEIR OWN RISK. By registering for the race competitor gives up the possibility of transferring responsibility to the organizers of the race and confirms their health status and ability to finish the race. The organizer will provide medical care in accordance with the rules of road athletic racing.

All competitors entering must be at least 12 years old on a day of race.

By registering for the race competitor agrees that the organizer may use photographs taken during, before and after the race for their internal needs and the promotion of the event. The competitor agrees that the organizer may use their personal data for internal communication and in promotional purposes.

Water refreshments are provided at the start, during the race and in the finish area. The finish area is provided with additional refreshments.

Starting number is placed solely on the chest and should be visible throughout the race. Failure to comply with the rules entail disqualification of a competitor.

Total time limit for 5 km races is 45 min (9:00 / km).

Unofficial race results will be published immediately after the race. The right to appeal is limited to three days after the publication of unofficial results. After this time results become official.

Traffic will be suspended and in front of the first group of competitors a police escort (motorcycle) is provided. All competitors always run on the right side of the road, and faster competitors are overtaking them on the left.

Unless otherwise stated, the rules of Croatian Athletics Federation, in line with the rules of the IAAF, are applied.
