Regulations

5 km Race is a road athletic races with a total length of 5,000 m. Race consist of one lap of 5,000 m length. Start and finish are in the same place.

Only healthy athletes may compete on a race and they all RUN AT THEIR OWN RISK. By registering for the race competitor gives up the possibility of transferring responsibility to the organizers of the race and confirms their health status and ability to finish the race. The organizer will provide medical care in accordance with the rules of road athletic racing.

All competitors entering must be at least 12 years old on a day of race.

By registering for the race competitor agrees that the organizer may use photographs taken during, before and after the race for their internal needs and the promotion of the event. The competitor agrees that the organizer may use their personal data for internal communication and in promotional purposes.

Water refreshments are provided at the start, during the race and in the finish area. The finish area is provided with additional refreshments.

Starting number is placed solely on the chest and should be visible throughout the race. Failure to comply with the rules entail disqualification of a competitor.

Total time limit for 5 km races is 45 min (9:00 / km).

Unofficial race results will be published immediately after the race. The right to appeal is limited to three days after the publication of unofficial results. After this time results become official.

Traffic will be suspended and in front of the first group of competitors a police escort (motorcycle) is provided. All competitors always run on the right side of the road, and faster competitors are overtaking them on the left.

Unless otherwise stated, the rules of Croatian Athletics Federation, in line with the rules of the IAAF, are applied.

In the half-marathon race money prizes are also awarded (gross amount) for the best OVERALL standings in men's and women's category:

Breaking a half marathon record will be rewarded with an additional 500,00 kn.

Only healthy athletes may compete on a race and they all run at their own risk. By registering for the race competitor gives up the possibility of transferring responsibility to the organizers of the race and confirms their health status and ability to finish the race. The organizer will provide medical care in accordance with the rules of road athletic racing.

All competitors entering half marathon race must be at least 16 years old on a day of race.

By registering for the race competitor agrees that the organizer may use photographs taken during, before and after the race for their internal needs and the promotion of the event. The competitor agrees that the organizer may use their personal data for internal communication and in promotional purposes.

Water refreshments are provided at the start, during the race and in the finish area. The finish area is provided with additional refreshments. Timekeeping is done electronically using a chip and all results will be published immediately after the race at the official website of the organizer. All competitors will have a net (chip start) and gross time (the time from the official start of the race until the entry of competitors to finish). In accordance with IAAF rules gross time will be used in official rankings.

Starting number is placed solely on the chest and should be visible throughout the race. Besides starting number competitors must have a corresponding chip without which their effort will not be recorded. Failure to comply with the rules entail disqualification of a competitor.

The time limit of the half marathon is 3:00 h (8:32 / km).

Unofficial race results will be published immediately after the race. The right to appeal is limited to three days after the publication of unofficial results. After this time results become official.
