ORGANIZATION

The DŠOF FITNESS CHALLENGE, part of the Dalmatia Šibenik Outdoor Festival, is organized by the agency Break a Leg, in cooperation with the Tourist Board of Šibenik-Knin County and the Tourist Board of Rogoznica. The competition starts on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at Lozica beach in Rogoznica.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

All individuals meeting the following criteria may participate in the DŠOF FITNESS CHALLENGE:

- At least 18 years old.

- Individuals aged 14 to 18 may participate if they have a signed permission from a parent or guardian (LINK TO FORM).

- They have registered for the race (filled out the online form at www.stotinka.hr + paid the registration fee).

By registering and paying the registration fee, the competitor directly agrees to compete in the Fitness Challenge at their own risk, is aware of the rules and regulations of the competition, as well as the potential risks involved. By registering, the competitor confirms they are in suitable psycho-physical condition for this type of competition.

STARTER PACKS

Starter packs can be collected at the main location: Lozica beach in Rogoznica, on Saturday, September 21, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

The contents of the starter pack include: race number, competitor's shirt, bag for storing personal items in the dressing room, sponsor gifts. To collect the starter pack and race number, presentation of a personal document is mandatory. Collection of the race number for another person is possible only with presentation of the personal document of the registered person.

COMPETITION NUMBERS

Each competitor receives their own race number. The race number MUST BE WORN throughout the entire competition, on the upper part of the body, front-facing, not covered, and clearly visible.

MANDATORY CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT

By registering, the competitor declares they are familiar with the list of MANDATORY CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT:

- Long/short pants/leggings and long/short sleeve shirt.

- Sneakers.

- Swim trunks/swimsuit.

TIME MEASUREMENT

The new DŠOF discipline FITNESS CHALLENGE is designed for all levels of fitness readiness, which means that everyone can sign up for this interesting and dynamic competition! It includes strength, endurance, balance, agility exercises both on land and in the sea, so get ready for an unforgettable sports experience! Competition results will be published immediately after the competition discipline ends on the website www.stotinka.hr.

COURSE CHANGES

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the course without prior notice, according to weather conditions and other circumstances.

REGISTRATION FEE PAYMENT

By paying the registration fee for two people, competitors confirm their acceptance of these rules, and the registration is considered valid.

In case of non-attendance at the competition, the paid fee will not be refunded.

REFRESHMENTS

A meal and drink are provided for competitors after the competition, upon presentation of their race number.

WARDROBE

A wardrobe for storing personal items during the competition is provided near the competition venue. Storage is only possible in the bag provided as part of the starter pack and with presentation of the race number at drop-off and collection. NATURE PROTECTION

The competition takes place in nature, so it is mandatory to adhere to basic rules of nature and environmental protection and to respect rules of behavior in protected natural areas. Competitors must not pollute the environment or harm the surrounding flora and fauna, must not litter or dispose of garbage at any location where the competition takes place.

MEDIA FREEDOM CONSENT

By registering for the fitness challenge, competitors agree that all recorded film and photographic material may be publicly displayed and used for promotional purposes of the race. The competition organizer retains all rights to use, copy, and distribute all recorded video and photo materials.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

On May 25, 2018, the so-called GDPR or European Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data came into force, which determines how and under what conditions data submitted to a third party may or may not be used. Of course, this concerns us as well, who collect your data for the purpose of registering for the competition, so please keep the following in mind:

- The data we receive from you will be used exclusively for the purpose of your registration for the competition. We will publicly disclose this data only in two cases - publication of the start list of competitors and publication of competition results. Since the competition itself would not make sense without your data and they are posted online solely for your information, they are used voluntarily according to regulations, and their publication is permitted.

- When registering via the www.stotinka.hr system, you must agree to the terms of use, which includes GDPR regulations, to continue filling out the data. If you have any objections to the publication of your data in the form of start and finish lists, please contact us so we can remove you from them. However, by doing so, the purpose of your participation in the competition is lost, and you forfeit your ranking in it, but we are obliged to do so if you request it.

- From the moment of your registration for the competition until the competition itself, you will receive several emails from us with information related to the organization of the competition and registration for it, but all still in the context of your voluntary participation in it.

- The data that will be publicly available before the competition are: your name and surname, your club, your country. Other data such as your date of birth, email address, home address, city, and all other requested data, remain in our database until the end of the competition, for the purpose of intervention towards the competitor in case of unforeseen circumstances. Data are deleted after the competition, and only the results are publicly displayed, which include data: your race number, name and surname, country, club, category, gender, and place in the ranking.

- We may not and will not use your data for other purposes or sell them to third parties for remarketing purposes.
