ORGANIZATION

BFF SWIMMING COMPETITION FOR WOMEN 500M - WOMEN NO RULES is organized by the agency Break a leg, in cooperation with the Tourist Board of the city of Biograd na Moru and the Klub Daljinskog plivanja Donat Zadar. The race starts on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., from the sea, next to the Ilirija pool, in Biograd na Moru.

PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

At the BFF Swimming Competition for WOMEN 500 m, only women who meet the following conditions can participate:

- aged 18 and over

 

- persons aged 12 to 18 may participate if they have a signed permission from their parents or guardians LINK TO FORM

 

- they have registered for the race (filled out the online form at www.stotinka.hr + paid the registration fee)

Competitors, by registering and paying the registration fee, directly agree to compete at their own risk, are familiar with the rules and regulations of the competition, which they will adhere to, as well as the possible risks involved in the competition, and waive the possibility of transferring responsibility to the race organizer, as well as to competitors or third parties. By registering, competitors confirm that they are in appropriate psycho-physical condition suitable for this type of competition.

START PACKAGES

The collection of start packages is organized at the main location: next to the Ilirija pool in Biograd na moru, on Sunday, June 23, from 08:00 to 09:30.

Contents of the start package: start number, competition T-shirt, bag for storing personal items in the locker room. To collect the start package and start number, it is mandatory to present an ID. The collection of the start number for another person is possible only with the presentation of the ID of the registered person.

COMPETITION NUMBERS

Each competitor receives their start number. The start number will be written on the hand of each competitor by the organizer with a waterproof marker, and each competitor is obliged to keep their start number for later collection of personal items, as well as refreshments after the race.

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

By registering, competitors declare that they are familiar with the list of MANDATORY EQUIPMENT:

- natural swimwear, FINA-certified swimming suits or triathlon suits.

- female swimmers can compete with various aids: fins, gloves, mask, floats, and anything else that can make them happy.

DESCRIPTION OF THE RACE / TIMING

There is NO time limit for the race.

A swimmer who competes in the race with aids CANNOT continue the Aquathlon race later.

The race starts from the finish line, which will be set in the sea, not far from the end, and will swim around the set buoys in a circular route. The course is 500 meters long.

The race results will be published immediately after the end of the race on the website www.stotinka.hr.

ROUTE CHANGE

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the course without prior notice, according to weather conditions.

REGISTRATION FEE PAYMENT

By paying the registration fee, competitors confirm that they accept these rules and the registration is considered valid.

In case of non-appearance at the competition, the paid money will not be refunded.

REFRESHMENTS

Refreshments are provided for competitors after the race (with the presentation of the start number).

WARDROBE

Storage for storing personal items during the competition is provided in the immediate vicinity of the race start and will be available for competitors at the finish line. Storage is possible only in the bag that is part of the start package and with the presentation of the start number upon delivery and collection. NATURE PROTECTION

The race takes place in nature, and accordingly, it is obligatory to adhere to basic rules of nature and environmental protection and respect rules of conduct in protected natural areas. Competitors must not pollute the environment or throw waste into the sea during the race.

Let's be careful with nature, preserve it, and enjoy it in its most beautiful form!

MEDIA FREEDOM CONSENT

By registering for the competition, competitors agree that all recorded film and photographic material can be publicly displayed and used for promotional purposes of the race. The race organizer retains all rights to use, copy, and distribute all recorded video and photo materials.

DATA PROTECTION

As of May 25, 2018, the GDPR or European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data came into force, which determines how and under what conditions data submitted to a third party may and may not be used. Of course, this also concerns us who collect your data for the purpose of registering for the competition, so please keep the following in mind:

- The data we receive from you will be used exclusively for the purpose of your registration for the competition. We will publicly disclose this data only in two cases - the publication of the list of competitors and the publication of the competition results. Given that the competition would make no sense without your data and they are posted online solely for your information, they are used voluntarily according to the regulations, and their publication is permitted.

 

- When registering through the system www.stotinka.hr, to continue filling out the data, you must agree to the terms of use, which includes the GDPR regulations. If you have any objections to the publication of your data in the form of start and finish lists, please contact us so that we can remove you from them. However, by doing so, the purpose of your participation in the competition is lost, and you lose your ranking in it, but we are obliged to do so if you request it.

 

- From the moment of your registration for the competition until the actual competition, you will receive several emails from us with information related to the organization of the competition and registration for it, all still in the context of your voluntary participation in it.

 

- The data that will be publicly available before the competition are: your name, surname, your club, your country, and the competition you are registering for. Other data such as your date of birth, email address, home address, city, and all other requested data remain in our database until the end of the competition, for the purpose of intervention towards the competitor in case of unforeseen circumstances. After the competition, the data is deleted, and only the results that include the following data are publicly displayed: your start number, name, surname, country, club, category, gender, and position in the ranking.

 

- We are not allowed and will not use your data for other purposes, nor sell them to third parties for remarketing.
