ORGANIZATION
BFF SWIMMING COMPETITION FOR CHILDREN 300M is organized by Break a Leg Agency, in cooperation with the Biograd na Moru Tourist Board and Klub Daljinskog plivanja Donat Zadar. The race starts on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at the Ilirija pool, in Biograd na Moru.
PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
All children who meet the following conditions can participate in the BFF Swimming Competition for children 300m:
- Up to the age of 10 (born in 2014 or younger)
- Children can participate with a signed permission form from their parent or guardian [LINK TO FORM]
- Completed registration for the race (filled out online form at www.stotinka.hr + payment of the entry fee)
By registering and paying the entry fee, competitors agree to compete at their own risk, acknowledge being informed of the rules and regulations of the competition, as well as the potential risks involved. They waive the possibility of transferring responsibility to the race organizer, other competitors, or third parties. By registering, competitors confirm that they are in appropriate psychophysical condition suitable for this type of competition.
STARTER PACKS
Starter pack collection is organized at the main location: near the Ilirija pool in Biograd na Moru, on Sunday, June 23, from 09:00 to 10:30 AM.
Starter pack contents: race number, competition t-shirt, bag for storing personal items in the dressing room. Presentation of a personal document is mandatory for the collection of the starter pack and race number. Collection of the race number for another person is possible only with the presentation of the personal document of the registered person.
COMPETITORS' NUMBERS
Each competitor receives their own race number. The race number is written on each competitor's arm by the organizer using a waterproof marker. Each competitor is required to keep their race number for later retrieval of personal items and refreshments after the race.
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
By registering, competitors acknowledge being informed of the list of MANDATORY EQUIPMENT:
- Swimsuits: natural swimming costumes, FINA-certified swimsuits, and triathlon suits.
COMPETITION DESCRIPTION/TIMING
The children's swimming competition 300m will take place at the Ilirija pool in Biograd na Moru. The course is 300m long.
The competition results will be published immediately after the competition on the website www.stotinka.hr.
COURSE CHANGE
The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the course, without prior notice, according to weather conditions.
ENTRY FEE PAYMENT
By paying the entry fee, competitors confirm their acceptance of these rules, and the registration is considered valid.
In case of absence from the competition, the paid money will not be refunded.
REFRESHMENTS
Refreshments are provided for competitors after the race (with presentation of the race number).
DRESSING ROOM
A dressing room for storing personal items during the competition is provided near the start of the competition and will be available for competitors at the finish line. Storage is only possible in the bag provided as part of the starter pack and with the presentation of the race number for both drop-off and pick-up. NATURE CONSERVATION
The race takes place in nature, and accordingly, it is mandatory to adhere to basic rules for nature and environmental protection and to respect rules of behavior in protected natural areas. During the competition, competitors must not pollute the environment or throw waste into the sea.

MEDIA FREEDOM CONSENT
By registering for the competition, competitors agree that all filmed and photographic material can be publicly displayed and used for promotional purposes of the race. The competition organizer retains all rights to use, copy, and distribute all recorded video and photo materials.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
As of May 25, 2018, the GDPR or European Regulation for the protection of personal data has come into force, determining under what conditions and terms data provided to a third party may or may not be used. Of course, this concerns us as well, as we collect your data for the purpose of registering for the competition, so please note the following:
- We will use the data we receive from you exclusively for the purpose of your registration for the competition. We will publicly publish this data only in two cases – the publication of the starting lists of competitors and the publication of competition results. Considering that the competition would not make sense without your data, and they are provided online solely for your information, according to regulations, their use is voluntary, and their publication is permitted.
- When registering through the www.stotinka.hr system, to continue filling out the data, you must agree to the terms of use, which includes GDPR regulations. If you have any objections to the publication of your data in the form of starting and finishing lists, please contact us so that we can remove you from them. By taking this step, you do lose the purpose of your participation in the competition and your ranking in it, but we are obliged to do so if you request it.
- From the moment of your registration for the competition until the competition itself, you will receive several emails from us with information related to the organization of the competition and registration for it, but all in the context of your voluntary participation in it.
- Data that will be publicly published before the competition are: your name and surname, your club, your country, and the competition you are registering for. Other data such as your date of birth, email address, home address, city, and all other requested data, remain in our database until the end of the competition, for the purpose of intervention towards the competitor in case of unforeseen circumstances. After the competition, the data will be deleted, and only the results including the following data will remain publicly displayed: your race number, name and surname, country, club, category, gender, and ranking position.
- We will not and cannot use your data for other purposes or sell them to third parties for remarketing purposes.
