ORGANIZATION

BFF FITNESS CHALLENGE by Goran Špaleta as part of the BFF FESTIVAL is organized by the Break a Leg agency, in cooperation with the Tourist Board of the City of Biograd na Moru. The competition starts on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM, next to the Ilirija pool in Biograd na Moru.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

All persons who meet the following criteria can participate in the BFF FITNESS CHALLENGE:

- At least 18 years old

- Individuals aged 14 to 18 can participate with a signed consent form from a parent or guardian [LINK TO FORM]

- Completed registration for the race (filled out online form at www.stotinka.hr + payment of entry fee)

By registering and paying the registration fee, the competitor agrees to participate in the Fitness Challenge at their own risk. They acknowledge being familiar with the rules and regulations of the competition and the potential risks involved. Competitors waive the right to transfer responsibility to the race organizer, other competitors, or third parties. By registering, the competitor confirms they are in appropriate physical and mental condition for this type of competition.

STARTER PACKS

Starter packs can be picked up at the main location: Next to the Ilirija pool in Biograd na Moru, on Saturday, June 22, from 9:00 to 09:45 AM.

Starter pack contents: race bib, race shirt, bag for storing personal items in the locker room, water bottle, sponsor gifts. To pick up the starter pack and race bib, presentation of a personal document is mandatory. Start numbers can be picked up for another person only with the presentation of the registered person's personal document.

RACE NUMBERS

Each competitor receives their race bib. The race bib MUST BE WORN throughout the competition, on the upper part of the body, front-facing, not covered, and clearly visible.

MANDATORY CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT

By registering, the competitor declares they are familiar with the list of MANDATORY CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT:

- Long/short pants/leggings and long/short-sleeved shirt

- Sneakers

- Swim trunks/swimsuit

DISCIPLINE DESCRIPTION

The new BFF discipline FITNESS CHALLENGE by Goran Špaleta is designed for competitive pairs, meaning you can register with a friend, partner, dad, sister, neighbor... and show what a great team player you are! The competition is mixed (two men, two women, or a mixed pair), and each exercise is adapted to a specific gender (M or F).

The BFF Fitness Challenge is suitable for all levels of fitness, meaning everyone can participate in this interesting and dynamic competition! It includes strength, endurance, balance, and agility exercises on land and in water, so get ready for an unforgettable experience with your BFF!

Competition results will be published immediately after the end of the competition discipline on the website www.stotinka.hr.

CHANGE OF VENUE

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the venue without prior notice, depending on weather conditions and other circumstances.

ENTRY FEE PAYMENT

By paying the entry fee for two persons, competitors confirm that they accept these rules, and the registration is considered valid.

In case of non-attendance at the competition, the paid money will not be refunded.

REFRESHMENTS

Refreshments and water are provided for competitors (upon presentation of the race bib).

WARDROBE

Storage for storing personal items during the competition is provided near the competition venue. Storage is only possible in the bag included in the starter pack and with the presentation of the race bib during deposit and retrieval. NATURE PROTECTION

The competition takes place in nature, so it is mandatory to adhere to basic rules of nature and environmental protection and respect the rules of conduct in protected natural areas. During the competition, competitors must not pollute the environment or destroy surrounding flora and fauna, litter, or dispose of waste at any location where the competition takes place.

MEDIA FREEDOM CONSENT

By registering for the fitness challenge, competitors agree that all recorded film and photographic material may be publicly displayed and used for promotional purposes of the race. The competition organizer retains all rights to use, copy, and distribute all recorded video and photo materials.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

As of May 25, 2018, the GDPR or European regulation for the protection of personal data has come into force, which determines how and under what conditions data submitted to a third party may and may not be used. Of course, this also concerns us, who collect your data for the purpose of registering for the race, so keep the following in mind:

- We will only use the data we receive from you for the sole purpose of your registration for the competition. This data will only be publicly disclosed in two cases – publication of the starting list of competitors and publication of competition results. Since the competition itself would not make sense without your data and they are posted online solely for your information, they are used voluntarily according to regulations, and their publication is permitted.

 

- When registering through the www.stotinka.hr system, to continue filling out the data, you must agree to the terms of use, which includes GDPR regulations. If you have any objections to the publication of your data in the form of starting and finishing lists, please contact us so that we can remove you from them. By doing so, however, the purpose of your participation in the competition is lost, and you lose your ranking in it, but we are obliged to do so if you request it.

 

- From the moment of your registration for the competition until the start of the competition itself, you will receive several emails from us with information related to the organization of the competition and registration for it, but all still in the context of your voluntary participation in it.

 

- The data that will be publicly disclosed before the competition are: your name, your club, your country. Other data such as your date of birth, email address, home address, city, and all other requested data remain in our database until the end of the competition, for the purpose of intervention towards the competitor in case of unforeseen circumstances. Data are deleted after the competition, and only the results including data: your race number, name, country, club, category, gender, and ranking remain publicly displayed.

 

- We are not allowed and will not use your data for other purposes, nor sell them to third parties for remarketing.
