ORGANIZATION

BFF ADULT SWIMMING COMPETITION 1.5 KM is organized by Break a leg agency, in collaboration with the Tourist Board of the City of Biograd na Moru and Klub Daljinskog plivanja Donat Zadar. The race starts on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM, from the sea, next to the Ilirija pool, in Biograd na Moru.

PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

All individuals who meet the following conditions can participate in the BFF Adult Swimming Competition 1.5 KM:

- Aged 18 and above

- Individuals aged 14 to 18 can participate with a signed permission from a parent or guardian [LINK TO FORM]

- Completed registration for the race (filled out online form at www.stotinka.hr + payment of entry fee)

By registering and paying the entry fee, competitors directly agree to compete at their own risk, acknowledge familiarity with the rules and regulations of the competition, as well as the potential risks involved. Competitors waive the possibility of transferring responsibility to the race organizer, as well as towards other competitors or third parties. By registering, competitors confirm that they are in appropriate psycho-physical condition suitable for this type of competition.

START PACKAGES

Start package collection is organized at the main location: next to the Ilirija pool in Biograd na Moru, on Sunday, June 23, from 08:00 to 09:30 AM.

Start package contents: race number, competition t-shirt, bag for storing personal items in the wardrobe. For collecting the start package and race number, presentation of a personal document is mandatory. Collection of the start number for another person is possible only with the presentation of the personal document of the registered person.

COMPETITOR NUMBERS

Each competitor receives their own race number. The organizer will write the number from the race number on the arm of each competitor using a waterproof marker. Each competitor is obliged to keep their race number for later collection of personal items, as well as refreshments after the race.

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

By registering, competitors declare that they are familiar with the list of MANDATORY EQUIPMENT:

- Swimsuits, natural swimwear, FINA-certified swimwear, and triathlon suits.

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPETITION/TIME MEASUREMENT

The race starts from the finish line, which will be set in the sea, not far from the end, and will be a circular route around the set buoys. The distance is 1.5 km.

The results of the competition will be published immediately after its completion on the website www.stotinka.hr.

ROUTE CHANGES

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the route, without prior notice, according to weather conditions.

ENTRY FEE PAYMENT

By paying the entry fee, competitors confirm acceptance of these rules, and the registration is considered valid.

In case of non-participation in the competition, the paid money will not be refunded.

REFRESHMENTS

Refreshments are provided for competitors after the race (with presentation of the race number).

WARDROBE

Storage for storing personal items during the competition is provided in the immediate vicinity of the start of the competition and will wait for competitors at the finish line. Storage is possible only in the bag that is part of the start package and with the presentation of the race number at delivery and collection. For uncollected items in the specified time, it is necessary to contact a representative of the organizer at the contact number +385993239643.

NATURE CONSERVATION

The race takes place in nature, and accordingly, it is mandatory to adhere to basic rules of nature and environmental protection and respect rules of behavior in protected natural areas. Competitors during the competition must not pollute the environment or throw waste into the sea.

Let's be careful with nature, preserve it, and enjoy it in its most beautiful form!

CONSENT TO MEDIA FREEDOM

By registering for the competition, competitors agree that all recorded film and photographic material can be publicly displayed and used for promotional purposes of the race. The race organizer retains all rights to use, copy, and distribute all recorded video and photo materials.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

On May 25, 2018, the so-called GDPR or European Data Protection Regulation came into force, which determines how and under what conditions data submitted to third parties may and may not be used. Of course, this also concerns us who collect your data for the purpose of registration for the competition, so please keep in mind the following:

- The data we receive from you will be used exclusively for the purpose of your registration for the competition. We will publicly publish this data only in two cases – publication of the list of competitors and publication of competition results. Since the competition would not make sense without your data and it is set up online solely for your information, it is used voluntarily according to regulations, and its publication is permitted.

 

- During each registration via the www.stotinka.hr system, to continue filling out data, you must agree to the terms of use, which includes GDPR regulations. If you have any objections to the publication of your data in the form of start and finish lists, please contact us so we can remove you from them. By doing so, however, the purpose of your participation in the competition is lost, and you lose your ranking in it, but we are obliged to do so if you request it.

 

- From the moment of your registration for the competition until the actual competition, you will receive several emails from us with information related to the organization of the competition and registration for it, but all still in the context of your voluntary participation in it.

 

- The data that will be publicly published before the competition are: your name and surname, your club, your country, and the competition you are registering for. Other data such as your date of birth, email address, home address, city, and all other requested data remain in our database until the end of the competition, for the purpose of intervention towards the competitor in case of unforeseen circumstances. Data is deleted after the competition, and only the results including data such as your race number, name and surname, country, club, category, gender, and ranking remain publicly displayed.

 

- We may not and will not use your data for other purposes, nor sell them to third parties for remarketing purposes.
