Event - Public Race Register for a race Registered Competitors Results

Perun Adventure Race is a one-day adventure race that takes place in Podstrana near Split. The race is about 80 km long, with approx. 2000 m of vertical ascent and the same amount of descent. The famous "hospitable" Dalmatian karst awaits you, combined with views that literally and figuratively take your breath away.

There are four disciplines: trekking, kayak, MTB, via ferrata. PAR is a team race of two competitors, regardless of gender. Men's, women's and mixed PAiRs can be entered. Each PAiR that successfully completes the race receives finisher's medals, except for the first three teams in the absolute category, we also give prizes to the three best teams by category:

  • male PAiR
  • female PAiR
  • mixed PAiR 

The winners of the PAR, in addition to medals and prizes, also receive the Perun cup for permanent safekeeping!

The maximum number of teams in the race is limited to 30, so be quick to register!

The registration fee per team is EUR 50 (don't let the registration fee mislead you about the type of race) and is refunded in case of cancellation until August 1, 2024. 

The registration fee includes:

  • organizer's start package (t-shirt, backpack, gift from our patrons)
  • race map
  • live tracking of the race
  • kayak with associated equipment
  • climbing equipment
  • rake BIB
  • three rich refreshments on the trail
  • a hot meal after the race

Technical meeting MANDATORY for all teams FRIDAY 27.09.2024. at 8:05 p.m. 

Mandatory team equipment:

  • Helmets - worn throughout the race
  • Race BIB - the team number must be visible at all times - mandatory to wear the entire race (distributed by the organizer)
  • GPS transmitter for live tracking - must be turned on for the entire race (shared by the organizer)
  • mobile phone - must be switched on throughout the race
  • race map (shared by the organizer)
  • compass
  • headlamp
  • first aid (including astrofolia)
  • MTB bike (due to the configuration of the track and your safety, we only accept MTB bikes with a minimum tire width of 1.9 inches.

E-bikes are not allowed!

Recommendation: waterproof zip bag

Tip: prepare the pump and spare tubes. 

The organizer can inspect the equipment at each control point, and for the lack of a part of the equipment there is a penalty of 20 minutes on the total time for each missing part. Any distance of one team member from another will be punished by disqualification. Accompaniment and help from the side are not allowed and are subject to direct disqualification from the race. Teams can help each other. You can finish the race in only one way, by collecting all control points in the order determined by the organizer and by completing each section between transit points by the means determined by the organizer. The race will take place regardless of the weather forecast. It can be canceled only with the announcement of a thunderstorm. During the race, communication with the competitors will be through the WhatsApp group, and in case of any changes, the competitors will be notified through that channel. In case of any necessary help, cancellation or something else, you contact the organizer directly by calling the numbers you will receive on the race map. The GPS transmitter must be turned on during the entire race, and in case something goes wrong with it, the organizer will contact you and meet you at the nearest possible point to fix the problem. Deliberately turning off the GPS transmitter is subject to direct disqualification. Participation in the race is at your own risk, about which you will sign a Disclaimer.
