Event - Public Race Registered Competitors Results
5km race
The 5km race is a road athletics race with a total length of 5,000m. The race consists of one lap of 5 km. The start and finish are in the same place. The control point is located at the farthest point between 2.5 kilometers, which is also the turning point.
The start of the race is at 09:10, on Saturday, 03.06.2023. in Mukinje, in front of ŠRC Mukinje - Sports hall.
Anyone who is at least 15 years old on the day of the race may take part in the race. People under the age of 15 may participate with the approval of their parents and a sports medicine doctor.
The time limit is 70 minutes (12:00/km).
All other rules and responsibilities apply as for the half-marathon and marathon races.
Family marathon
In the tradition of the Plitvice Marathon, there is a family gathering and a stay at the Plitvice Lakes. The organizers always wanted to attract whole families to stay in the National Park and run together. That's how the family marathon was born. A race where one of the family members runs a 5 km race, one takes part in the half marathon, and one in the marathon. Their times are added together to determine the overall ranking. Only first-generation family members can register for the family marathon.
Family members register individually for each race and, after registration, send an e-mail registration for the family marathon to a.k.plitvice@gmail.com with the subject: Family Marathon 2022.

1. All competitors are required to adhere to all epidemiological rules and guidelines
prescribed by Croatian government, local government and the organizer that will be valid
on race day
2. All competitors are required to wear protective face mask when picking up their race
numbers
3. In case of race cancellation due to severe weather rescheduling of the race start is
possible
4. In case of race cancellation due to COVID-19 pandemic the organizer is not obliged to
refund the admission fee
5. In case of race cancellation competitors can chose between transfer of the admission
fee to some other race organized by Athletic club Plitvice or they can pick up their starter
pack with previous arrangement with the organizer
6. Starter pack can be sent via mail but in that case the competitors will pay for the
shipping
7. On marathon, half-marathon and 10k race all Croatian Athletic Federation and
international athletic rules apply
8. Race number must be worn and visible on chest of the competitors, con-compliance
with this rule can result in disqualification
9. By paying the registration fee all competitors give consent to be photographed during,
before and after the race. The same photographs can be published and official website,
social and all other media
10. Competitors that have already passed through the race line are not allowed to walk
along the start/end zone with their chip timer still attached (race number)
11. In case of withdrawal from the race competitors are obliged to inform the race
organizer. Non-compliance to this rule can result in bans on future races.
12. All race result appeals are to be sent to organizer e-mail within the set time for the
appeals (before the award ceremony), otherwise eventual appeals will not be reviewed
and the race results will become official
13. In case that the marathon race is also a Croatian Marathon Championship elite
runners can be separated from others and entrance to the start zone will be forbidden
without the permission of the organizer unless it’s not otherwise decided
