RACE DISCRIPTION

Within the Trogir Outdoor festival there will be a TRAIL RACE ''MASTERS OF TRAIL'' on the 18th of May which will be on the island of Čiovo, which is connected to Trogir by bridge. There are three categories:

FIRE is a trail of 22km and is most suitable for advanced runners. The start is at 9.00 o’clock from Slatine (church of Gospa od Prizidnice) on the island Čiovo, then across the church of St. Mavar and end in Trogir. The limit to finish is 5 and a half hours (by 14.00h). Mandatory equipment includes a cellphone full on battery. Without it, you will not be able to participate. All contestants will be transferred from the meeting point in Trogir to the START in Slatine by an organized bus. The meeting point is the promenade (Riva) and you must be there at 8.30 in order to be at the START on time.

EARTH is a trail of 11km and is suitable for recreationists and advanced runners. The start is at 9.00 o’clock from the promenade (Riva) and towards the peak of Čiovo – Žedno, across the St. Mavar church and ends in Trogir on the promenade. The limit to finish the race is 3 and a half hours (by 13.30h). Mandatory equipment includes a cellphone full on battery. Without it, you will not be able to participate.

WATER is a trail of 5km and is most suitable for beginners, joggers and children (not younger than 7 years of age) The start is at 10.00 o’clock from the promenade (Riva) and towards the church of St. Anthony and ends at the START on the promenade. The time limit to finish is 2 and a half hours (by 12.30h). Mandatory equipment includes a cellphone full on battery. Without it, you will not be able to participate.

TIME LINES

• On line registration is available at www.stoperica.live from the 10th of March to the 18th of May at 8.00h.

• Collecting START packages and numbers are possible from the 10 to the 17th of May in the store INTERSPORT in Trogir, Marisa shopping center.

• It is also possible to collect the START packages and numbers on the day of the race on the promenade (Riva) from 8.30 – 9.00h.

• Time of departure for the trail race FIRE is 8.30h /START 9.00h

• START of trail races EARTH and WATER is 10.00h

• Lunch after the races is timed for 13.00h

• Announcement of winners is at 14.00h

 The announcements are followed by music and fun.

TIME LIMITS

• FIRE 22 km: 5h (by 14.00 h)

• EARTH 11 km: 3h and 30 min (by 13.30 h)

• WATER 5 km: 2h and 30 min (by 12.30h)
