1. ORGANIZATION OF THE RACE

The sport and recreation club “Jastreb extreme” is organizing together with the Nature park Žumberak – Samoborsko Highlands the first Trail running race Žumberak Trail that will take place from 23. – 25. August 2019 on the Žumberak and Samoborsko Highlands area.

2. GENERAL INFORMATION

The race is designed and planned as a three day event to show the natural and historical beauty of Žumberak and the Samoborsko Highland and to promote the cultural and culinary region of this part of the Zagrebačka county.

The race will take place in four different lengths (levels of difficulty) with Start and Finish line on Plešivica Poljanice:

ULTRA 57K/2501mD+

• Race start: 24.08.2019 at 09.00 a.m.
• Race time limit: 11 hours
• number of participants: 100 competitors
• ITRA/UTMB: 3 qualification points
• Refreshment posts: 4 ( Mali Lipovec, Jarušje, Kordići, Japetić)
• Number of measuring stations: 3 (Jarušje, Kordići, Japetić)
• Expected winning time: 6:00 h

DUGA 28K/1430mD+

• Race start: 24.08.2019 at 09.30 a.m.
• Race time limit: 6 hours
• number of participants: 200 competitors
• ITRA/UTMB: 1 qualification points
• Refreshment posts: 2 ( Mali Lipovec, Japetić)
• Number of measuring stations: 1 ( Japetić)
• Expected winning time: 3:00 h

KRATKA 15K/672mD+

• Race start: 24.08.2019 at 10.00 a.m.
• Race time limit: 3:45 hours
• number of participants: 200 competitors
• Refreshment posts: 2 ( Mali Lipovec, Maričkin mlin)
• Expected winning time: 1:20 h

REKREATIVNA 8K/388mD+

• Race start: 24.08.2019 at 10.15 a.m.
• Race time limit: 2.30 hours
• number of participants: 100 competitors
• Refreshment posts: 1 ( Oštrc)
• Expected winning time: 0:45 h

PROGRAM

23.08.2019        registration/ application, expo fair, wine/ sparkling wine and “štrukli” tasting

24.08.2019        race, social gathering (get – together), entertainment

25.08.2019        wine-culinary tour - rural run households / family run farm (product tasting)

3. HOW TO REGISTER

Registration starts on April 10^th 2019 and ends on July 21^th 2019. The competitors can apply online on the web site https://www.stotinka.hr/hrv/dogadjaj/918, and the registration is considered complete after the competitor pays the contribution to the bank account of the organizer.

Note: Everyone who registers until July 21^th 2019 and pays the contribution gets a starter package. Registration and contribution payment will be possible afterwards (after that date) as well but the starter package is then not guaranteed.

4. PARTICIPATION FEE

An early registration / application from 10.04.2019 – 31.05.2019

Participation fee price:

• ULTRA 57K- 250,00 HRK / 33 €
• DUGA 28K - 170,00 HRK / 27 €
• KRATKA 15K – 130,00 HRK / 16 €
• REKREATIVNA 8K – 120,00 HRK / 16 €

Registration / application from 01.06.2019 – 21.07.2019

Participation fee price:

• ULTRA 57K - 280,00 HRK / 40 €
• DUGA 25K - 190,00 HRK / 33 €
• KRATKA 15K – 140,00 HRK / 20 €
• REKRETAIVNA 8K – 120,00 HRK / 16 €

The participation fee ULTRA / DUGA includes the following:

1. a) participation at the race
2. b) the route set up and area control costs
3. c) competitor registration on the day of the race
4. d) official timekeeping, processing and result announcement
5. e) keeping participants informed via web site and e-mail list
6. f) commitment of all people working at this trail running race with all expenses
7. g) office and field expenses for the race organization
8. h) charge for web sites and competitor online registration
9. i) start number at the race
10. j) photo and video material from the race
11. k) protection available by the Croatian Mountain rescue service (HGSS)being on stand by
12. l) medals + awards from the sponsors for the first three places in both categories
13. m) all necessary licences from relevant authorities/ institutions
14. n) warm meal in the finish
15. o) refreshments at the finish and during the race
16. p) bracelet with chip
17. q) technical shirt Compressport (brand)
18. r) original “finish” medal

The participation fee KRATKA / REKREATIVNA includes the following:

1. a) participation at the race

Important remark 3: If you are sending a collective payment - pay by just one transaction and don’t forget the competitor names it has been paid for

The maximum number of competitors is limited to 600 as follows:

• 100 on the trail ULTRA
• 200 on the trail DUGA
• 200 on the trail KRATKA
• 100 on the trail REKREATIVNA

6. TAKING OVER THE START NUMBERS AND PACKAGES

Will take place on

• Friday 23.08.2019 from 19:00 - 21:00 in Jastrebarsko
• Saturday 24.08.2019 from 07:00 – 10:00 at Plešivičke Poljanice, Jastrebarsko

7. THE START OF THE RACE

The competitors are bound to come to the Start/ Finish area with the required equipment on 24.08.2019  according to the following schedule:

TECHNICAL MEETING for each category is 10 minutes before the start.

• trail ULTRA- Plešivičke poljanice, Gajev kamen, Plešivičke poljanice, Oštrc, planinarski dom Ivica Sudnik – Veliki dol, Mali Lipovec, Beli breg, Kovinščica, Stražnik, Velika vrata, Japetić, Dragonož, Jarušje, Glušić selo, Noršić selo, Koretići, Šimraki, Kordići, Jelenići, Golubići, Zečak, Jankov mlin,Okretaljka, Japetić, kamenolom Vranovdol, Maričkin mlin, Plešivičke poljanice.
• trail DUGA - Plešivičke poljanice, Gajev kamen, Plešivičke poljanice, Oštrc, planinarski dom Ivica Sudnik – Veliki dol, Mali Lipovec,, Beli breg, Kovinščica, Stražnik, Velika vrata, Japetić, kamenolom Vranovdol, Maričkin mlin, Plešivičke poljanice.
