26th Turopoljska Race 2018
26th Turopoljska Race 2018 will be held on Saturday, March 24th 2018, at 10:30 h, at the centre of Velika Gorica in front of Pučko otvoreno učilište Velika Gorica.
Sports Race 5 km
This is a race exclusively for athletes from clubs registered with the Community of Sports Associations of Velika Gorica (you must indicate your club during registration). There are no age categories in this race. Three best placed runners OVERALL will be awarded trophies.

In order to confirm your place on the start line, please proceed to payment of entry fee via Internet or mobile banking.
Registration fee for sporta race is as follows:
- Early bird applications and payment until 31/1/2018 – 50 HRK (6 EUR)
- Regular applications and payment from 1/2/2018 to 28/2/2018 – 60 HRK (8 EUR)
- Late applications and payment from 1/3/2018 to 22/3/2018 – 70 HRK (10 EUR) (online applications close on 22/3/2018 at 11:59 PM)
- Applications and payment during start package pick-up from 23/3/2018 to 24/3/2018 – 80 HRK (12 EUR)!
Payment must be made to the gyro-account of the Marathon Club Velika Gorica using the following data:

If you are paying entry fees for more than one person, transaction confirmation has to be sent to blagajnik@mkvg.hr together with a list of names for whom these fees were paid. Registration fee payments will be updated on a weekly basis. Paid registration fees will not be returned, but the application may be transferred to another competitor, until 22/3/2018 the latest.
IF THE PAYMENT OF REGITRATION FEE IS NOT REGISTERED IN ONLINE APPLICATION SYSTEM, REGISTRATION FEE PAYMENT CONFIRMATION SHOULD BE PRESENTED ON REQUEST WHILE PICKING UP STARTING NUMBER!
By signing up for the race, all contestants agree to participate AT THEIR OWN RISK.
Please note once again that the application is valid only after the registration fee has been paid.
These three races are road athletic races with a total length of 5,000 m. Both races consist of one lap of 5,000 m length.
Only healthy athletes may compete on a race and they all RUN AT THEIR OWN RISK. By registering for the race competitor gives up the possibility of transferring responsibility to the organizers of the race and confirms their health status and ability to finish the race. The organizer will provide medical care in accordance with the rules of road athletic racing.
All competitors entering any of these three races must be at least 12 years old on a day of race.
By registering for the race competitor agrees that the organizer may use photographs taken during, before and after the race for their internal needs and the promotion of the event. The competitor agrees that the organizer may use their personal data for internal communication and in promotional purposes.
Water refreshments are provided at the start, during the race and in the finish area. The finish area is provided with additional refreshments. Timekeeping is done electronically using a chip and all results will be published immediately after the race at the official website of the organizer. All competitors will have a gross time (the time from the official start of the race until the entry of competitors to finish), as this is the time IAAF uses in its official rankings.
Starting number is placed solely on the chest and should be visible throughout the race. Besides starting number competitors must have a corresponding chip without which their effort will not be recorded. Failure to comply with the rules entails disqualification of a competitor.
Total time limit for all these races is 45 min (9:00/km).
Unofficial race results will be published immediately after the race. The right to appeal is limited to three days after the publication of unofficial results. Appeal is sent to e-mail mkvg@mkvg.hr. After this time results become official.
Traffic will be suspended and in front of the first group of competitors a police escort is provided. All competitors always run on the right side of the road, and faster competitors are overtaking them on the left.
Unless otherwise stated, the rules of Croatian Athletics Federation, in line with the rules of the IAAF, are applied.
