3. SWIMMING MARATHON TISNO 2023.

PROPOSITIONS OF THE GREAT MARATHON – 3000 m

Organizers: Association for the Promotion of Swimming UPPA, Croatian Academic Long Distance Swimming Club Mladost and Tisno Tourist Board.

PATH The swimming marathon (hereinafter the competition) is held in Tisno, the course is 3 km long. The start is in Tisnom (on the island), near Veliki Port. The path - marked with yellow and orange buoys, passes by the coast of Sv. Andrije and is circled clockwise (in the order shown in the picture) - all the floats are passed on their left side, i.e. on the right shoulder. After passing the first orange buoy, it continues to the next yellow one, and the turn is made after the second orange buoy. The destination is Mali Port.

PARTICIPATION Members of sports clubs and recreational players from the Republic of Croatia and abroad can participate in the competition. Women and men perform simultaneously, but the results are evaluated separately. People under the age of 18 can only compete with a signed statement from a parent/guardian, which allows the participation of a minor competitor in the race. CATEGORIES Competitors compete in the following categories:

ABSOLUTE CATEGORY (M/F),

AGE CATEGORIES (M/F), category up to 15 years (M/F), category of 16 - 19 years old (M/F), category of 20 - 29 years old (M/F), category of 30 - 39 years old (M/F), category of 40 - 49 years old (M/F), category of 50 - 59 years (M/F) category of 60 and over (M/F)

ABSOLUTE CATEGORY

1st place - cup, gold medal and cash prize 160€

2nd place - cup, silver medal and cash prize 110€

3rd place - cup, bronze medal and cash prize 60€

AGE CATEGORIES first three places in the category – medals

SPECIAL CATEGORY "BEST IN THE VILLAGE" first place in the category – medals Each competitor receives a t-shirt for participating in the marathon. Also, food and drinks are provided for all competitors. Food coupons can be downloaded during registration.

APPEARANCE Each competitor performs at his own risk - confirming this when filling out the Marathon Participation Form, which is not transferable to the competition organizer even in the event of force majeure. For contestants under the age of 18, a parent or guardian guarantees with their signature. Along with the application form, the parent/guardian's declaration is signed, which allows the participation of the minor competitor in the race. Minors without a parent/guardian's signature will not be allowed to participate in the competition.

PERFORMANCE REGISTRATION Participation in the competition is registered via the website: https://www.stotinka.hr/admin/races/view/5097 Applications end on August 12, 2023. (Saturday) at 09:00. The competitor has the right to perform after paying the registration fee and correctly filling out the online application form.

START OF THE COMPETITION The competition starts on August 12, 2023. (Saturday) at 10:00 a.m., and the end of the competition is two hours (2 hours) after the start. Competitors who finish the competition within that time limit enter the official competition. Numbers can be entered from 8:00 am.

FEES Individual registration fee The registration fee for the competition is €15 per competitor (indicate the swimmer's first and last name in the payment description) Family registration fee For two or more members of the same family, the registration fee is HRK 12 per competitor (indicate the swimmer's first and last name in the payment description) Members of the association who have paid the annual membership fee in the amount of €30 do not have to pay the registration fee. The registration fee is paid to the account of the Association via a general payment slip or internet banking (scanning of QR codes is possible). ACCOMMODATION We advise all contestants who would like to organize an overnight stay in one of the private accommodations to use platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.

THE OTHER The organizer provides the health service and lifeguards at the competition. Competitors are accompanied by boats during the performance. List of permitted swimwear (including regular swimwear) - Available at: http://www.fina.org/content/fina-approved-swimwear Performance in prohibited suits (neoprene for triathlon and similar) is possible, but only out of competition. During the performance, the following is prohibited, which implies automatic disqualification: shortening the path any physical conflict at the competition (hitting, pulling competitors, etc.), contact with lifeboats (with the intention of resting, etc.).

FINALLY The organizer has the right to amend the proposals for the competition.

Regulations

Pursuant to the Law on the Implementation of the General Regulation on Data Protection and Protection of Personal Data in the Republic of Croatia - New Regulation on Protection of Personal Data (GDPR 2016/679/EU), and Art. 7 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals in connection with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, I grant the Organizer and the Croatian Long Distance Swimming Federation PERMISSION to publicly publish recordings, results and descriptions from this event, which may contain my character, i.e. name with the data published in the start list. Also, with this CONSENT, I allow that the same data can be used in the media and on the websites and social networks of the participants of the competition. CONSENT is given by a PARENT/GUARDIAN on behalf of a minor competitor *

 

I accept the competition regulations published on the website of the Association for the Promotion of Swimming UPPA and declare that I assume all responsibility for any adverse events that may occur during the competition.
