JOIN THE CETINA ADVENTURE RACE 11 - 03 June 2023

 

Spectacular, challenging, and crazy race in 2023 for adventure lovers. In two-man teams, through 4 disciplines in the 130 km long race through Cetina region with surprise tasks. Coming?

The eleventh adventure race “Cetina Adventure Race” will allow all true adventurers to experience the exceptional beauty of the Cetina region and test their limits of physical and mental endurance.

 

THE RACE FORMAT:

The race begins from a location that will be revealed to participants 3 hours before race start.

The briefing will be at the starting point of the race 3 hours before kick-off. The trail layout track, checkpoints, and finish location will be announced 3 hours before the race at a briefing before the start.

Each team has 2 participants. Male, female, or mixed teams can participate.

Maximum number of teams: 30 teams that sign up first. Each subsequent team remains in reserve in case of dropping previously reported teams.

Briefing: it will be held two hours before the start of the race (03.06.2023.)

 

Mandatory team equipment:

– Bicycle (MTB) for both participants, with a minimum tire width of 2.0. Bicycles must have a front and rear light. Electric-powered bicycles are not allowed.

– Helmets – must be worn throughout the race. Each participant must have their own.

– Race bib – must be worn throughout the race. Race bib and the number on it must be always visible. It is not allowed to cover the front with a backpack or any other piece of equipment.

– Topographic race map (Provided by the organizer)

– Magnetic compass

– First aid kit

– Headlamp

– Life jacket (Provided by organizer)

– Astro foil (two per team)

– Mobile device (will be sealed and placed in a waterproof bag secured by the organizer)

– Paddles (provided by the organizer) – Kayak (provided by the organizer)

In case of additional equipment, you will be contacted by the organizers 12 hours before the start of the race.

Note: Teams must follow all the strict rules of the time of holding a technical meeting and handing over the equipment, otherwise they will not be able to compete in the race.

 

 

ENTRIES TO THE RACE

Entry to the race: entries are made on stotinka.hr, and last until 23:59 on 15.05.2022, after this deadline there is no longer a possibility to register.

 

Entry fee by team:

– For applications up to 01.03.2022. The entry fee is EUR 80,00 per team

– For applications after 01.03.2022. The entry fee is EUR 100,00 per team

In case of team withdrawal after 15.05.2022., there is no refund of the entry fee.

 

Payment of entry fee:

– Registration is considered a complete payment of the entry fee.

AWARDS:

For the first three teams, a prize fund worth 1000,00 EUR is provided.

The awards will be provided for the first three teams in the men’s, women’s and men’s/women’s divisions.

Regulations

Rules:

1. Each team is required to attend all technical meetings before the race.
2. At any time during or before the race, all teams are obliged to show the organizer all the equipment prescribed by the rules. The lack of any of the listed pieces of equipment will mean penalty minutes or disqualification.
3. All teams must have with them all the mandatory equipment prescribed by the organizers during the entire race.
4. Team members must be within sight of each other and in a position where they can verbally communicate with each other throughout the race.
5. Abandoning/or moving away from a safe distance of one member from another team member will be punished by disqualification.
6. Under no circumstances may teams receive support or assistance from other persons during the race either at control/transition points or on any other part of the course.
7. In the event of an unforeseen situation or an injury to a teammate or someone from another team, you must stop and contact the organizer. In case of ignoring the injury of someone from another team and not providing help to the injured/contacting the organizer, the team that continues the race without respecting this rule will be disqualified.
8. All teams must respect other teams. Behave in accordance with generally accepted norms of behavior. Teams that do not behave in accordance with the provisions and respect the organizer's rules may receive penalty points/disqualification.
9. All competitors must respect the environment, respect our rivers and mountains, any littering during the race will be punished by direct disqualification.
10. Respect nature, and always be an example.
11. You can finish the race course in only one way, by collecting all control points in the order determined by the organizer and by completing each section between transit points by the means the organizer determined (bicycle, kayak, walking, swimming).
12. The use of mobile phones or any other device with a GPS device capable of displaying the current position is strictly prohibited.
13. You will have refreshments only at transit points, for those mentioned you can prepare the equipment you think you will need and hand it over to the organizer before the start of the race.
14. The organizer will transport the specified equipment to certain transit points.
